• Donations and fundraising: Online donations are processed through secure third-party platforms (such as PayPal Giving Fund, Stripe, Network for Good, or similar). Payment details are handled entirely by those platforms. NYCCT receives confirmation data to issue tax receipts and acknowledgment letters.
• Educational program inquiries and school partnership forms: We may collect school name, educator name, grade level(s) served, and contact information when you inquire about school visits, residencies, or curriculum partnerships.
• Volunteer and employment applications: Applicants may submit resumes, contact details, and other relevant professional information through our website or linked portals.
• Event registration: When registering for workshops, summer camps, or family programs, we may collect participant names, contact information, and any special needs or accommodations requested.

Ticket purchases for NYCCT performances are processed through third-party ticketing platforms, which may include services such as TodayTix, Eventbrite, Brown Paper Tickets, or similar providers.

• These platforms collect and process your payment, billing, and contact information directly and have their own privacy policies governing that data.
• We encourage you to review the privacy policy of whichever ticketing platform you use before completing a purchase.
• NYCCT may receive limited order information — typically your name, email address, and ticket type — for the purpose of customer service and event coordination.

6b. Donation and Payment Platforms

Online donations to NYCCT are processed through secure third-party payment platforms, such as PayPal Giving Fund, Stripe, Network for Good, or similar services.

• Your payment card details are never stored or processed directly by NYCCT. All financial transactions are handled by our payment partners’ secure, encrypted systems.
• NYCCT receives donation confirmation data — including your name, contact information, and gift amount — solely to provide acknowledgment letters and IRS-compliant tax receipts.

6c. Email Marketing Tools

NYCCT may use email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar services to send newsletters and program updates.

• Subscribers can unsubscribe from any NYCCT mailing list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in every email.
• Email service providers are contractually required to protect subscriber data and may not use it for their own marketing purposes.

6d. Social Media

NYCCT maintains active profiles on social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and others.

• Content you share publicly on those platforms is governed by the respective platform’s own privacy policy, not this document.

• NYCCT adheres to the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Donor Bill of Rights, which affirms your right to know how your gift is used, to receive appropriate acknowledgment, and to expect confidentiality.
• Donors may opt out of all non-transactional communications (such as newsletters or fundraising appeals) at any time without affecting the processing of their gift.

8. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Protecting the privacy of children is a top priority for NYCCT. We are committed to full compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), a federal law that governs the online collection of personal information from children under the age of 13.

• The NYCCT website is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
• All program registrations, ticket purchases, event sign-ups, and online communications for minors must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.
