New York City Children’s Theater’s Virtual Field Trips

New York City Children's Theater offers four virtual field trips for Title 1 Schools. Schools receive a filmed version of the show and engagement activities for their students. Shows are available for students ages 2 and up, so there's something for everyone!

New York City Children’s Theater is proud to offer Virtual Field Trips to NYC Title 1 Public Schools for the 2021-22 school year. We have four productions available for schools:

  • Forest of Feelings | Best for students ages 2-5
Join us on an interactive adventure as we venture to the Forest of Feelings to return a lost laugh to its distant home.
  • Same, Same, But Different | Best for students ages 5-8
By exchanging letters and pictures, EL and Kailash quickly learn that although their worlds might look different, they are actually quite similar!
  • The Traveler | Best for students of all ages
From the imaginations of celebrated mime Bill Bowers, student of the legendary Marcel Marceau, and director Andrew Frank, comes a silent and whimsical tale of one man’s journey to find a new home.
  • A Band of Angels | Best for students ages 8+
Follow Ella, a pop-culture obsessed teenager living in the present day who is transported back in time to meet the Jubilee Singers and gain a new appreciation for history and education.
