What Inspired Your My First Nutcracker Design?
I watched videos of the Nutcracker and read about female explorers in history. This helped me find a balance between the classical work and our Clara-Marie’s adventurous spirit.
I love the distinctly different places that the prince and clara explore, and we try to shape the environment to reflect their unique characteristics!

Snowflakes, flowers, dew, candy, and imagination!
For this set design I took inspiration from watercolors, as well as classic arts and crafts. I wanted the set to feel painterly, as if it was coming out of Clara Marie’s imagination.
