Tell us your advice for young people who might feel worried sometimes…
Everybody gets worried, even scared sometimes. When it happens to me, I take a deep breath, remember that I’m strong, I’m smart, and I have a mama who’s got my back!
Breathe! All power comes from the breath and sometimes focusing on the simple act of inhaling and exhaling can ground you!
Everyone gets worried sometimes, me included! The important thing is to talk to someone like a parent or a trusted friend that will understand how you are feeling and help you get through it. Leon always knows Honey and his dads are there for him!
My advice for when you get worried is to stop and take a few slow, deep breaths. It’s amazing how something as simple as focusing on your breathing can be so calming.
It is normal to worry! But take a deep breath and focus on the positive. You have more of the answers than you think you do. You can do it!
