Colette Élan Caspari | Honey
Where are you from?
I am originally from Los Angeles but moved to Atlanta at 10.
If I weren’t an actor, I’d be…
I can’t imagine not being an actor but if I couldn’t do that I’d be a writer or a director or maybe work with kids.
My advice to young people who want to become an actor is…
I would say practice your make-believe skills, watch lots of movies and plays if you can and relax. It’s just pretend!
The best thing about being an actor is…
The best thing about being an actor is that you get to play pretend all day!

Eli Gonzalez | Papa & Others
Where are you from?
I am from Corpus Christi, Texas! It’s not the “YEEHAW” kind of Texas you imagine…It’s closer to Mexico and is full of Tex-Mex music, art, and most importantly…FOOD!
If I weren’t an actor, I’d be…
A teacher! When I am not on stage, I love to teach voice and music to students of all ages! I was lucky enough to have some great teachers who inspired me and I hope to be that driving force for someone else!
My advice to young people who want to become an actor is…
Always be open to learning more! Every experience (show, audition, rejection, class, etc.) is an opportunity to learn more and grow as a person and performer!
The best thing about being an actor is…
The community! No matter how nervous or alone you feel, it’s comforting to know that there are millions of other actors who are fighting the same good fight that you are! Make friends and support each other!

Jack B. Murphy | Leon
Where are you from?
I grew up on Long Island just 90 minutes outside of the city with my family, including two miniature dachshunds named Charles and Lily!
If I weren’t an actor, I’d be…
I would be (and am!) a writer. I’ve always loved to read and get caught up in a good story, and theatre is a big part of that too! Ever since I did my first show when I was 7, I’ve always known I’ve wanted to be a part of the theatre.
My advice to young people who want to become an actor is…
Work hard and be kind! Celebrate the artists and art you love, and never forget how much of a joy it is to create something as a team!
The best thing about being an actor is…
Being a professional storyteller! Getting to be onstage is like being able to share all of your favorite music and stories with new people every day. Not only that, but it’s an experience that’s a little different every show and we get to share that with everyone in the audience too!

Scotland Newton | Daddy & Others
Where are you from?
I grew up in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania which is in an area called The Poconos. It’s very woodsy and mountainous and especially beautiful in the fall when the leaves change colors.
If I weren’t an actor, I’d be…
If I wasn’t an actor I think I would be a teacher. I’ve always been passionate about making a difference in people’s lives.
My advice to young people who want to become an actor is…
My advice would be to find as many creative outlets as you can. Drama club at your school or community theatre in your hometown are great places to make friends who also love acting and also adults who can nurture your creativity and help mentor your aspirations.
The best thing about being an actor is…
Getting to meet and work with the most interesting people. Many of my closest friends are people I met doing shows.

Marissa Paolella | Misty & Others
Where are you from?
I am from Lavallette, NJ, a small beach town right near the Jersey Shore.
If I weren’t an actor, I’d be…
Wishing I could act. But also I love the music industry and think I would have been a great Manager or Coach for an artist. I know for sure I always want to be in the entertainment industry as it is the most rewarding for me.
My advice to young people who want to become an actor is…
Go for it! Even when people say no. Do it anyways. If there is a will, there is a way. It won’t be easy, but it will make you happy and you should always follow your dreams. (They know better than you!)
The best thing about being an actor is…
I get paid to tell stories. I love sharing stories at dinner with friends and family, but being an actor allows me to tell and share other people’s stories. I take each one as my own and love to move an audience.
