What’s the kindest thing someone has done for you?
My mother has done everything possible and made many sacrifices in life so that I could follow my dreams,and now it’s paying off. So I’d have to say that’s the nicest thing anyone’s ever done for me.

Sometimes really sad things happen to us. My dad died a few years ago, which made me very, very sad. However, I have amazing friends and family who love me very much, and when I was feeling down a few of my friends got in a car, drove to where I was in Virginia, and came and stayed with me for a few days. They helped me when I needed help the most, and were there for me when I needed to cry or when I felt angry. Being there for the ones you love, or even people you don’t know, especially when they don’t feel so great, is so kind!

The kindest thing someone has done for me was done by my close friend, Tak. I was very nervous about an upcoming trip to Seattle, a long trip, to somewhere brand new and far away. My last day at home, he hung out with me and we got dinner together. He cheered me up and told me, “Everything will go great! Everyone is going to love you.” It did, and they did. He also got me a practical and very thoughtful gift: a new case for my phone. He knew I’d been hunting for one for a while, and my friend surprised me with one he knew I would love. He’s one of the kindest people I know.
