Make Shape Stew with Us!

This week at Creative Clubhouse Stories we are reading Thank You, Omu! In honor of our book, today we're making our own shape stew! Make some with us...
Creative Clubhouse KIDS

What You’ll Need

  • 3 Sheets of Construction Paper (any color)
  • A Sheet of black Construction Paper
  • Crayons
  • Pencil
  • Safety Scissors
  • Craft Glue

This project requires cutting. If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup is helping you cut!

What To Do

  1. Trace your pot! Your pot is a large U with an oval drawn around the top.
  2. Cut out your pot.
If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!
  3. Trace the oval on top with a white crayon.
  4. Draw your shapes on the different colors of construction paper!
  5. Cut out the shapes with your safety scissors.
If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!
  6. Glue the shapes onto the circle. Fill up your circle!
  7. Using your crayon write a message to the person you’re sharing your stew with!

And now you have your Shape Stew!
