Sunflowers are one of our favorite flowers and we're so excited to make these paper plate sunflowers with you today!
Creative Clubhouse KIDS

What You’ll Need

  • Sheet of Yellow Paper
  • Sheet of Black Paper
  • Paper Plate
  • Pencil
  • Crayons
  • Glue and/or Tape
  • Safety Scissors

What To Do

  1. Trace 8-10 large yellow petals on your construction paper.
  2. Cut your paper plate so that it’s a circle with smooth edges.
If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!
  3. Trace small and medium size circles on your sheet of black construction paper.
  4. Cut out your petals and circles.
If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!
  5. On one side of your plate, glue your petals all around the circle.
  6. On the other side of your plate, glue the black circles so that they fill up the whole paper plate circle.
  7.  Color in any remaining area not covered with circles with a black crayon.

And now you have your paper plate sunflower!
