What You’ll Need
- Sheet of Green Paper
- Popsicle Stick
- Paper Plate
- Pencil
- Crayons
- Glue and/or Tape
- Safety Scissors
What To Do
- Cut around the edge of your paper plate to make flower petals. Only cut a little bit in (we stopped at the curve of the plate) and then leave some space between each.
If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you! - Color your flower any color(s) you’d like – we chose yellow, orange, red, purple, and pink!
- Color in your popsicle stick to create the stem of your flower.
- Draw two leaves on your construction paper.
- Cut out your leaves!
If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you! - Using glue or tape, attach your leaves onto the stem and then your stem onto your flower.
- Add an extra piece of tape for the stem on the back of the flower, if needed.
And now you have your paper plate flower!
