Make a Paper Plate Flower with Us!

As spring continues, beautiful flowers are blooming everywhere! We’re making our own paper plate flowers with you!
Creative Clubhouse KIDS

What You’ll Need

  • Sheet of Green Paper
  • Popsicle Stick
  • Paper Plate
  • Pencil
  • Crayons
  • Glue and/or Tape
  • Safety Scissors

What To Do

  1. Cut around the edge of your paper plate to make flower petals. Only cut a little bit in (we stopped at the curve of the plate) and then leave some space between each.
If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!
  2. Color your flower any color(s) you’d like – we chose yellow, orange, red, purple, and pink!
  3. Color in your popsicle stick to create the stem of your flower.
  4. Draw two leaves on your construction paper.
  5. Cut out your leaves!
If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!
  6. Using glue or tape, attach your leaves onto the stem and then your stem onto your flower.
  7. Add an extra piece of tape for the stem on the back of the flower, if needed.

And now you have your paper plate flower!
