Make a Paper Plate Monster with Us!

Winifred Schnitzel from Monster Trouble is NOT afraid of monsters! But, they are keeping her up at night. Today, we’re making one of the monsters that are keeping Winifred awake!
Creative Clubhouse KIDS

What You’ll Need

  • Sheet of Color Paper
  • Paper Plate
  • Pipe Cleaner
  • Pencil
  • Crayons
  • Glue and/or Tape
  • Safety Scissors

What To Do

  1. Draw your monster’s ears. We drew squiggly ears on pink paper, but yours can look however you’d like!
  2. Cut your pipe cleaner into two small pieces
If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!
  3. Draw a face for your monster. Our monster has three eyes and is smiling, but yours can look however you’d like!
  4. Color in your monster’s eyes and smile
  5. Color in your paper plate whatever color(s) you’d like!
  6. Cut out your monster’s ears.
If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!
  7. Tape or glue your monster’s ears to the back of the monster’s head!
  8. Make your monster fangs by folding your pipe cleaner pieces in half and taping them on the monster’s smile!

And now you have your paper plate monster!
