Make a North Star with Us!

In the book Goodbye Autumn, Hello Winter, our main character sees the North Star on their walk! Today we’re making our own starry scene with the north star right in the center.
Creative Clubhouse KIDS

What You’ll Need​

  • Sheet of Yellow Paper
  • Sheet of Black Paper
  • Crayons
  • Pencil
  • Glue
  • Safety Scissors

Optional

  • Gold Pipe Cleaner

What To Do

  1. Draw your star on a piece of yellow paper.
  2. Cut out your star.
    If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!
  3. Glue your star in the center of the piece of black paper.
  4. If you’re using a gold pipe cleaner, cut out your pipe cleaners into small pieces.
    If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!
  5. Using your crayons, draw smaller stars around your big star.
  6. Put pieces of tape around the stars
  7. Add your pipe cleaners, if you choose to use them, for some extra sparkle!

And now you have your North Star!
