DIY Craft | Make a Mosaic Apple with Us!

For today's Back to School craft we're making a sweet, but healthy, snack you might give to your teacher in school or enjoy yourself from your remote classroom: an apple!
Creative Clubhouse KIDS

Make a Mosaic Apple with Us!

What You’ll Need

  • Green Construction Paper
  • Red Construction Paper
  • Brown Construction Paper
  • Paper Plate
  • Crayon or Pencil
  • Safety Scissors
  • Glue

This project requires cutting. If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup is helping you cut!

What To Do

  1. Cut out the circle at the center of your paper plate.
If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!
  2. Cut your red paper into strips then squares.
If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!
  3. Glue your red squares onto your circle, filling up the entire space (it’s okay if the squares go on top of each other!)
  4. Draw a leaf on your green paper and a stem on your brown paper.
  5. Cut out your stem and leaf.
If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!

  6. Glue your stem and leaf to the back of the apple.

And now you have your Mosaic Apple!
