Make a Monster Headband with Us!

What You’ll Need

  • 2 Pieces of Construction Paper
  • 1 Sheet of White Paper
  • 2 Pipe Cleaners
  • Safety Scissors
  • Tape or Glue
  • Black Crayon or Marker

What To Do

  1. Using a piece of construction paper, cut it into 2-4 long strips to make your headband!
If you don’t have safety scissors, ask a grownup for help!
  2. Attach the strips to one another and then measure and adjust the headband to fit your head.
  3. Secure with tape or glue.
  4. Let’s make a monster eye! Cut out 1 BIG circle from construction paper and 1 SMALLER circle from white paper.
If you don’t have safety scissors, ask a grownup for help!
  5. Tape or glue the smaller circle in the middle of the big circle.
  6. Draw a black circle in the middle of the smaller circle to make the pupil of the eye.
  7. Tape or glue the eye to the center of your headband.
  8. Take 2 pipe cleaners and wrap them around your finger to make them squiggly.
  9. Tape a pipe cleaner onto each side of the eyeball to make silly monster horns.

And now you have your monster headband!
