Make a Bumble Bee with Us!

Buzz… Buzz… One of the first signs of spring is when we start seeing bees flying around from flower to flower! Make a bee with us today!
Creative Clubhouse KIDS

What You’ll Need

  • Sheet of Yellow Paper
  • Sheet of Black Paper
  • One Pipe Cleaner
  • Pencil
  • Crayons
  • Glue and/or Tape
  • Safety Scissors

What To Do

  1. Draw two circles on your yellow paper and then one complete circle on the black paper. Draw one last circle that connects at the top, almost like a teardrop!
  2. Cut out your circles!
If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!

  3. Glue your circles on top of each other in a yellow-black-yellow-black pattern. We used some tape on the back to secure it as well.

  4. Draw two eyes and a smile on the top yellow circle
  5. Cut your pipe cleaner in half.
If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!

  6. Twirl the two pieces of pipe cleaner around your finger to make a twirl at the top!
  7. Glue or tape both pieces of pipe cleaner to the top of the bee’s head.

And now you have your bumble bee!
