Make a Paper Plate Lily Pad and Handprint Frog with Us!

We’re jumping to our next craft the way a frog jumps from lily pad to lily pad! Make this paper plate lily pad and handprint frog with us today!
Creative Clubhouse KIDS

What You’ll Need​

  • Sheet of Pink Paper
  • Sheet of Green Paper
  • Paper Plate
  • Pencil
  • Crayons
  • Glue and/or Tape
  • Safety Scissors
  • Glue Dot (optional)

What To Do

  1. Trace your handprint on your green construction paper.
  2. Cut your handprint out using your safety scissors.
    If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!
  3. Trace a flower on your piece of pink construction paper. Make sure to leave enough room between petals to fold up.
  4. Cut out your flower.
    If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!
  5. Trace a triangle beginning in the center of your plate.
  6. Cut out your triangle.
    If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!
  7. Color your plate using green crayons.
  8. Fold the petals on your flower up.
  9. Using glue or a glue dot, attach your flower to your green paper plate.
  10. Draw a face for your frog on your handprint.
  11. Using glue or tape, attach your frog to your lily pad.

And now you have your paper plate lily pad and handprint frog!
