Creative Clubhouse KIDS

What You’ll Need

  • Sheet of Construction Paper
Any color you’d like your butterfly wings to be!
  • Popsicle Stick
  • One Pipe Cleaner
  • Pencil
  • Crayons
  • Glue and/or Tape
  • Safety Scissors

What To Do

  1. Trace your handprints on your construction paper
  2. Cut out your handprints!
If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!
  3. Color in your popsicle stick with whatever colors you’d like – we chose purple and dark red!
  4. Draw two eyes and a smile on your popsicle stick
  5. Using tape or glue, secure your handprints to the back of the popsicle stick
  6. Cut your pipe cleaner in half
If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!
  7. Twirl the two pieces of pipe cleaner around your finger to make a twirl at the top!
  8. Glue or tape both pieces of pipe cleaner to the top of the butterfly’s head.

And now you have your handprint butterfly!
