DIY Craft | Make Ruby’s Worry with Us!

In this week's Creative Clubhouse Story, Ruby Finds a Worry, Ruby, who loves to explore the world around her, finds a worry!
Creative Clubhouse KIDS

Today we’re going to make a worry that looks just like Ruby’s!

Tune in on Wednesday when Caitlyn reads the story and you find out how she overcomes her worry, and how you can too!

What You’ll Need

  • A Paper Plate
  • A Pipe Cleaner
  • A Popsicle Stick
  • Crayons
  • Safety Scissors
  • Double Edge Tape or Glue

This project requires cutting. If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup is helping you cut!

What To Do

  1. Cut off the outside of your paper plate so you’re left with the circle.
If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!
  2. Cut your pipe cleaner in half and then using double stick tape or glue, attach it across the top of your circle.
If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!
  3. Draw two eyes and then color in your worry by making circular lines. We chose yellow like the book, but your worry can be a different color!
  4. Use your double stick tape or glue to attach your worry to your popsicle stick.

And now you have Ruby’s Worry!
