DIY Craft | Make a Seashell with Us!

Who's ready to go back to school? Whether you'll be in person, online, or both, you'll definitely be reading some really good books this year. Let's celebrate all of the great books you'll be reading by making our own bookworms!
Creative Clubhouse KIDS

Make a Seashell with Us!

What You’ll Need

  • A Paper Plate
  • Pipe Cleaners
If you don’t have pipe cleaners, you can use strips of paper or yarn
  • Crayons
  • A Pencil
  • Safety Scissors
  • Tape
If you don’t have tape, you can also use craft glue

This project requires cutting. If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup is helping you cut!

What To Do

  1. Outline the shape of your seashell using your pencil
  2. Use your safety scissors to cut your seashell out of the paper plate.
If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!
  3. Color in your seashell! We chose purple, blue, and silver but you can choose any colors you’d like!
  4. Cut your pipe cleaners in half.
If you do not have safety scissors, make sure a grownup helps you!
  5. Tape your pipe cleaners onto your seashells.

And now you have a Seashell!
