Zeynep Akca
Teaching Artist
Zeynep Akca is a Brooklyn-based teaching artist and director. She is originally from Istanbul, Turkey. She’s an actor-teacher with NYCCT’s anti-bullying campaign. She has worked with Girl Be Heard, TADA! Youth Theatre, Acting Out! and Amas Musical Theatre. As a director, she has worked plays in the Broadway Bound Theatre Festival, The Tank’s Pride Fest, and at The Brick. She is the artistic director of No Exit Theatre Collective and a producer on SCOWL: Fight Theatre. She holds an MA in Applied Theatre from CUNY SPS. Instagram: @zeynakca
