Richard Hua is a Managing Director of Quantitative Research with the Corporate Investment Bank at JP Morgan Chase & Co.
Since 2014, he has led a team of quant researchers focused on various analytics, pricing, and optimization initiatives for the Prime Finance business. By leveraging modern quantitative techniques, including Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Richard has been responsible for the multi-year transformation of the Prime Finance franchise. He also holds a number of leadership positions focused on mentorship and talent recruitment at the firm.
Prior to joining JP Morgan, Richard worked for 7 years as a quant strategist at Goldman Sachs in their Securities division, where he helped research & develop various quantitative solutions for the Equities business.
Richard has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Business, as well as a Master of Science in Analytical Finance, from Lehigh University.
Richard resides with his wife and two children in New Jersey.
