Melissa Jessel (she/her) is a creative producer, passionate about sharing stories on the stage that spark conversation beyond the theater. FISH IN A TREE (co-directed with Sammy Lopez) is Melissa’s first production with New York City Children’s Theater, and she is extremely grateful to be working at the intersection of arts and education. Alongside Sammy, she is developing the new TYA musical BRADICAL & THE PINK SOCKS. Outside the theater space, Melissa brings stories to life through curated experiences and custom events. Melissa graduated from Syracuse University’s School of Drama.
