Lily Lipman

Ally

Lily Lipman (she/they) is so excited to be working with NYCCT on this incredible production. Lily was diagnosed with auditory processing disorder (sometimes explained as dyslexia for sound) in elementary school and is so happy to share Ally’s story with other students who might be learning about themselves and their access needs. Lily’s learned a lot about how their auditory processing disorder, autism, and other disabilities connect them with a wider community of disabled folks. Lily got her BFA in acting at NYU Tisch in the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. She acted in everything from Shakespeare to new musicals, but this particular show is very special. This story is really important to Lily, and she believes that if more people talk about disability and consider access, joy, and community, the world would be a better place. If you’d like to find out more about Lily, feel free to look at their website, www.LilyLipman.com. They especially love talking to other disabled people about making art, so please feel free to reach out!
