Laura Pelcher

Laura Pelcher (she/her) is delighted to bring her experience in nonprofit operations and communications to the role of Grant Writer with the NYC Children’s Theater. From an early age, Laura has loved language and storytelling. As a grad student in linguistics, she studied English language conversation styles and has worked in audio recording, copywriting, and marketing. She has extensive experience in criminal justice reform and has recently worked with NYC nonprofits as an independent consultant in grant writing and foundation relationships. Laura loves to attend theater in NYC theater and is excited to be a part of the NYCCT team. She lives in Brooklyn with her partner and two furry family members.
