Jackie Wolff has been a theater arts teacher and teaching artist for the past 15 years. She graduated from New York University’s MA in Applied Theater and went on to be a full-time arts integration specialist at several private schools in NYC, specializing in special needs, language learners and early childhood populations. Here theater arts training is in physical theater and creative movement. Jackie’s work as a teaching artist combines her love of theater and movement to tell stories and empowerment of self. She is trained in trauma resolution through teaching and mindfulness. Some of Jackie’s favorite experiences as a teaching artist include working with the DOE to bring theater and storytelling through puppetry to elementary language learners in summer school, creative dance and yoga with families of students with special needs and creating stories with students living in the NYC shelter system with the New York City Children Theater!
Jackie is also a mom of one furry boy and one human boy as well as a synchronized swimmer with The Brooklyn Peaches!
