Frank Ruiz

Frank Ruiz (He/Him) is a proud first-generation Nicaraguan artist and educator, currently serving as the Education Coordinator for New York City Children’s Theater. Frank was featured by NPR in a story highlighting how his personal experiences dealing with race in the theatre have informed and inspired his career as an educator. As a Director, his production of Una Noche En Tejas has been featured at The Brisk Festival L.A., The New York Theater Festival Winterfest, and the Equity Library Theater of New York Summer Festival (Winner – Best Play in Festival). Select Acting credits include The International Tour of The Wizard of Oz (Bahrain / Saudi Arabia), Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, The Contemporary Theatre of Ohio, and The Dramatists Guild.
