Erin Eisenberg Blaz
Erin Eisenberg Blaz is a civic entrepreneur, currently working as the Senior Advisor to the Chief Program Performance and Financial Management Officer at the NYC Department of Social Services. In both her professional and personal life, she seeks to solve problems creatively and collaboratively. As a result, she contributes to civic life in two ways – as a local government employee and as an advocate for cultural policy and social entrepreneurship. On the board of New York City Children’s Theater since 2015, she currently chairs the Nominating Committee. Over the past 15 years, she has served on the boards of Emerging Leaders New York Arts (ELNYA) and the Rev. Linnette C. Williamson Memorial Park Association in Central Harlem. Erin is a graduate of Coro Leadership New York and the Arts and Business Council of New York’s Arts Leadership Institute. A native New Yorker, Erin holds master’s degrees in Public Affairs and Media Studies, both from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from Binghamton University. Erin lives in Central Harlem with her husband and two young daughters, so she is especially excited for all the amazing productions and programs offered by NYCCT.
