Aurie Ceylon

Aurie Ceylon (she/her) is a New York City-based writer, actor, and teacher; Aurie is also Artistic Associate with New York City Children’s Theater. After graduating from Howard University with a BFA in Fine Arts, Aurie performed internationally in productions of American Idiot, HAIR, and The Lightning Thief. Aurie is the creator of Aurie Says, a blog and online magazine, and Monster Classroom, a virtual & in-person arts/enrichment program for children ages 2-10. Aurie loves to encourage literacy, creativity, and curiosity when teaching and working with children. She is always writing, teaching, and creating! She is madly in love with the arts and putting smiles on the faces of kids across all five boroughs.
