NYCCT is gearing up for our next production, Fish in a Tree! This new play with music follows Ally, a smart girl with a big imagination who often causes distractions that get her in trouble in class. Soon she discovers that great minds don’t always think alike!
One of Ally’s favorite things to do is draw amazing pictures in her Sketchbook of Impossible Things! To celebrate the show, NYCCT is creating our own Sketchbook of Impossible Things and would like to ask your family to be a part of it!
To participate:
- Fill out the form below!
- You’ll then receive your impossible prompt from an NYCCT representative via email
- Have your young audience member draw a picture of the prompt
- Take a picture of the drawing and email it back with your Instagram handle (if you’d like/if applicable)
All drawings that are submitted will be shared on social media, our website, and may be displayed at the theater during the run of Fish in a Tree from March 18th – April 9th.
Everyone who submits a picture will be entered into a raffle to win a copy of the book “Fish in a Tree” by Lynda Mullaly Hunt, by the cast of the show (we’ll pick three winners total)!
We will be accepting submissions through Sunday, April 9th. Winners will be selected on Monday, April 10th.
